Dear Author,

Congratulations on being a writer, a thinker, a doer! As you may well know, writing is probably one of the most difficult endeavours one can undertake. While the work is difficult and trying, it is potentially one of the most rewarding things you can do — both personally and financially.

There are a few items that we would like to see from you when submitting a manuscript or idea to us.

• The manuscript or idea, of course. If emailed, preferably in Word format with the pages formatted to 8.5″ x 11″, double-spaced; if mailed, printed on 8.5″ x 11″ paper, double-spaced, and the pages numbered.
• A biography sheet. Sort of like a resume, which lists your experience and qualifications.
• A cover letter. Introduce yourself and your idea.
• A brief marketing analysis. Let us know how you think your book or idea would fare in the market. Against what is it competing? Is there a vacuum that others are missing in the market? Or is there a tail wind that we can capture?

Please allow us about a month to read your manuscript and judge its potential in the market place. If we believe that your book can be a success, then we will contact you. If you don’t hear from us in a month or two, you are free to contact us to see where we stand.
